It ain't lookin' good for any turn to the North anytime soon. That high pressure system ain't budging, and that puts Irma either going up Florida's spine, or off the West Coast of Florida headed for Mobile/Pensacola.

Spann pretty much completely ruled out Irma going into the Gulf. High confidence he said.Fla spine is a possibility ... but so are many others ...
Should accelerate until it's fully absorbed in the trough then it stops but that'll be to our NWAnother Question I have is Once this storm get inland into the Carolinas do it moves quickly out or slow down??
