Lol when is this ? Maybe I didn't look at the right Euro run . I saw nothing of interestSure does. Slow the second wave and get some separation and you probably get a nice a Miller A with a closed 500mb low. Well that didn't take long to start seeing another southern snow threat.
The stranger thing is the Euro and GFS are in decent agreement. When does that happen.
Yes at or below and if you look at the stats posted by Rah NWS there were 2 days at 32 that may have been 32.1 but as you stated they don't count tenths. Splitting hairs.... either way an impressive and potentially record setting cold streak. You mean at or below.

Finally! Definitely ready for a warm up after all this cold and nothing to show for it.

That is really bad when the air temp is warmer than the water temp in the great lakes. Yuck.

Almost sounds like an excuse for the fact that it just gets cold sometimes and we have no idea when that's going to happen nor do we have any control over it. Sounds very interesting though. Wonder if that frozen meteor smoke played into JB's Arctic East forecast a couple months ago? Highly doubt itI thought this was interesting (From NASA via ABC33/40 weather office):
STRANGE CLOUDS ARE CIRCLING ANTARCTICA: NASA’s AIM spacecraft is monitoring a vast ring of noctilucent (night-shining) clouds circling Antarctica. These strange clouds, formed at the edge of space by ice-frosted specks of meteor smoke, may be linked through recently discovered teleconnections to cold weather patterns in the USA

I'm just ready for tornado season, let's get on with it instead of this cold & dry bs

How about we bypass it all together? How about we get to fishspinner season? Or how about some nice heavy rain to fill up the lakes?I'm just ready for tornado season, let's get on with it instead of this cold & dry bs
You mean kind of like a guess like they often do?Looks like the cold air largely evacuates to the other side of the globe for a while, if the LR progs are to be believed. Anybody got any good reasons as to why that may be incorrect? Or are we just going to have to deal with it for a while?

FS - Keep 'em fish spinners and we're all good! Get 'em close to shore and much prefer missing a snow with just cold rain! How about we bypass it all together? How about we get to fishspinner season? Or how about some nice heavy rain to fill up the lakes?
In the NASA story, they tried to blame climate change for it,like they do with anythingAlmost sounds like an excuse for the fact that it just gets cold sometimes and we have no idea when that's going to happen nor do we have any control over it. Your always ready for tornado season . Just wait your turn lolBeen buisy not been posting lot... went back read the last couple pages ....going with Webber said earlier. I’m big time ready for tornado season .... cold dry meh....
That's crazy how the totals are less right through the middle and higher on both sides. How does that happen? Here's the snow and sleet accumulation map for yesterday & last night's winter storm in NC
