I have a good feeling that this system and the cold following could make many of us on this board happy. The trends seem to be favorable for a good event for more than just northern MS, AL, and TN.

For some reason the Canadian forms a low in the artic front. That’s probably why the higher snow totals from it.Pretty agressive totals, but of course don't take this at face value.
As much as I want the Canadian to be right, it’s unlikely

Are ground temps any concern with this system ? I'm worried the ground will be warm and wet prior to the snow starting.
I think the roads will cool down as the snow falls and I think the roads will freeze overnight.
Yes, this artic front is going to mean business. It could be one of them times where the temps drops 15 degrees in a hour.
None. Heck the low here in northern Alabama tonight is going to be 22 and high tomorrrow in mid 30’s..
I agree also Brad Travis said we dont need it to come in too fast or it'll be a lot drier

Looking at the map posted above, looks like a good 7-8 hours of wintry precip for you.

From what I can see through 120 the FV3 is veryyy dry. I has a different H5 look from every other model.
