The WRF is trash with temps, massive cold biasI think WRF and NAM will have a better handle on temps than The globals as we get closer.

Yeah your right, even tho this run is not as big, it favors area around my neck of woodsWell that's not as bad as I thought, looks to favor areas a little more south though.
That's actually more realistic though with this particular system. As I was saying this morning, I don't think this system will bring widespread 2-3"Looks like .5-1.5 inch snow with 10:1 ratios and 1-3 with higher ratios. I would be happy with that, but just don’t want it to trend any worse.

What do you think, widespread 1-2"? Still a win in my bookThat's actually more realistic though with this particular system. As I was saying this morning, I don't think this system will bring widespread 2-3"
Are you thinking a general widespread dusting to 1 inch for most areas ?That's actually more realistic though with this particular system. As I was saying this morning, I don't think this system will bring widespread 2-3"
A dusting to 1.5" Isolated 2". Oh yeah, getting something is always a win! What do you think, widespread 1-2"? Still a win in my book
With the "warmer" comment, I honestly wonder if that meant more rain as from what I could tell on the free maps, the energy looked fine.
Hold on, let me look.
An historic arctic outbreak for the record books and cold air is the issue ?I think the cold air is the issue. Looks like we don’t see the quickest change over.

Why is it showing an area of snow in between areas of rain to the west and east ? If it was really an arctic front would it really change from rain to snow back to rain ?
I don't believe this map, falling temps below freezing will not go from rain to snow back to rain with an strong Artic frontWhy is it showing an area of snow in between areas of rain to the west and east ? If it was really an arctic front would it really change from rain to snow back to rain ?
