Nice widespread 2-4 inches for everyone using a 10:1 snow ratio.

There's a Lafayette in Georgia, it's where my mom's side of the family has lived for years and years, and that's NW Georgia.
and yeah, the 850s are perfectly fine at 120, but because the moisture is starting to dry up, in some areas it's simply light rain.

Oh Canada 
Wow that would be like a 6-8 inch snow using a 15:1 ratio. That would neat.

If (downtown) Asheville gets 5" out of an arctic fronal passage, but can only manage 4" of snow and sleet from the overrunning storm we had in december, I'll be happy, but confused.
2 different possibilities , cmc is better for the Carolinas,cmc allows a wave to develop due to the pv lagging behind a bit

CMC also comes out with "Round 2 from a second wave by 2/01 for some of the same areas, but not as far south with the snow.

CMC's precip maps look better than what the snowfall map is showing. Hmm...still think this can trend better here. Can't wait for FV3 and Euro tonight.
What time is the euro coming out tonight

I am officially excited for this system. If it can tap into the gulf we an really increase our moisture returns. With the frigid temps behind it, this could become a very big deal.

FV3 is much lighter and is mostly light outside of parts of Tennessee. Might have something later based off what I'm seeing but I wouldn't relate it to this.

This is gonna be an extremely fast moving system . Despite a little higher ratios than normal there will be a ceiling as to how much snow can actually fall. I’m still firmly in the camp of 1-2 inches
