ICON did best with the coastal SE winter storm of Jan 2018.
No it’s getting it’s energy from a clipper.
I think I posted this the other night. But it will kinda be like the 1997 north Alabama event. Many got about 2 inches. And this was along a artic cold front too with a clipper.
ICON was a nice hit for the Mid-South.

Moisture makes it past the apps, still watching with the corner of my eye, perhaps we can sneak in some precip, anyways after that the warm biased icon shows some pretty cold temps

Not near as good as the 12z euro and 18z gfs. Although with a warm bias I guess that would be expected.

I think my curiosity is more peaked at the further west wave:
If that wave didn't get strung out, I'd like this time period, but it does. As it is it staying healthy longer I think provides more moisture. Don't you dare make me think about driving to Lafayette, GFS...
