Most of the precip falling now is snow actually, but they’re tiny flakes. I think I’m just a bit too south to get into the heavier returns. Without that, they aren’t going to get any bigger as the air is so dry the flakes are just sublimating as they fall.

Yup, having low dewpoints is nice for CAD (though apparently that’s not a big deal anymore per the latest models) but this is the tradeoff for something so marginal.
Snow/sleet seems to have stopped. Picked up some very light accumulation on elevated surfaces. Probably will go down as another T, the fourth of the winter
RAP is a localized ULL crush job lol 
I'd really like to get something on board besides the nam and long range Rap/hrrr..I guess the gfs/icon had it but were too warm

Hoping for a lil sleet or something from these streamers
It either rained here earlier or if it snowed we had zero accumulation, even on elevated surfaces. Regardless, the fantasy finger was a fail. At this rate, I don’t think we are going to see any icing, either.
IMO only short res guidance is going to pick up in Lolipop accumulations like that .. global show the general grid of what’s going on but upon closer inspection with higher resolutions you pick up on smaller details like that .. regardless at least it’s more to track ??

Wow I can’t tell from my window as of now but it looks like at least 3to4 here in Roanoke. Sleet line looks pretty far south as of now as well.

My temp has been holding between 31.8 and 32.0. There is a light glaze forming on some tree limbs.

Feeling like a big overperformance if we can keep getting precip to develop from the W/SW. just measured 3 on the sidewalk. Modst likely between 4 and 5 in grass.
32 and light sleet. The porch is lightly covered.
Sleet and a little freezing rain. I have a light glaze starting.
Pouring sleet/snow mix. 75% sleet with some nice flakes mixed in. 31.6/31 been holding there 7 hours.
