Couple of reasons I think this one could over perform the CAD area of Georgia, SC, and NC is those DPs are in the teens before precip arrives with a really cold airmass in place. Even the short range models look like they’re trying to raise temperatures even tho the DPs are that low. But the biggest thing is we have seen precip roll in a few hours ahead of modeling and that would quickly lock in the CAD and make it extremely difficult to erode which is honestly a norm in these setups.
