I know I sounded like a weenie hyping this front end band up but I’ve seen FGEN over performance a few times already and couple that with a stronger than modeled CAD and heavy rates that usually comes from FGEN and you had bust high potential like crazy in this setup.

Simpsonville, SC update. Fighting back and forth between heavy snow and sleet. By eye I’d say 2.5-3”. Absolutely dumping snow right now.

Somehow its snowing 5 miles east and west of me.
I’m seeing snowflakes flying around, but it’s incredibly light.

WSPA is at the GSP offices and they took an official measurement of 4.3” so far with it absolutely RIPPING on TV and it’s coming down at 1” hour rates according to them.

85 is completely covered in 4” of snow via WSPA in Spartanburg. Live reporting from boiling springs and it’s probably the heaviest I’ve seen the whole system.
Stressed that the hrrr is good at sniffing these out for a while before this storm, and boy did it prove itself

Light snow falling. 27 degrees. The dew points are still low. It will be interesting to see if it'll drop another couple degrees with the heavier precip this morning.
Went to sleep around 2 and woke up 45 mins ago, nothing but cold rain. Hopefully this ULL will pull thru with something. Temp down to 35, DP is 32. Winds howling like crazy too.

NE Forsyth County (Ga.) checking in, and good morning all. 33/32, winds gusting 35 mph+, about 1/2-3/4 inch (haven't measured yet) of snow with some sleet in the grass, on the deck, car tops, etc. Spitting light snow and sleet right now. My biggest concern: trees look like they have a light glaze.
