Wintry Feb 6-8 2022 Winter Potential

It's really not completely dead for eastern sections
Just looking at how things look right now, I just don’t see this bringing more than some token flakes even down that way… I hope I’m wrong and it can start trending back or maybe NAM can be the blind squirrel finding a nut on this one

Nope.

I can't believe what I just witnessed for my area. Sunday went from an amped up ice storm a couple of days ago to a 7 inch snowstorm yesterday to a partly cloudy day today. This is the winter that goes against everything we have come to expect. Winter was supposed to be front-loaded....see how that turned out. Dec was a torch and Jan was below normal. Now February isn't looking too bad. Northwest trend can not be counted on anymore. I give up.....

What exactly is going on with all of these storms? Why are they doing the complete opposite of what we are used too? Why’s it so hard to get your normal gulf low riding the coast this year?
For once the SE ridge has been taking it on the chin from what I can tell. Not very Nina like.
