We just jumped 6 degrees here in Chattanooga 33 to 39...
Imagine having that much confidence in your own forecast. Even with the WRF’s and FRAM’s of the world getting thrown around by keyboard meteorologists. These guys are good.
I’m here in north west Mississippi, in Tate county, if your in olive branch, your just a little over 20 miles from me, picked up a half inch of snow early this morning, has transitioned over to light sleet, freezing rain mix here for the last hour or so.The heavy stuff is still way back in Arkansas and Louisiana. Gonna be a long duration storm for me here. Any north MS peeps in here?
yes we doOh well that’s not good, don’t want any RC before stuff moves in View attachment 75902

Last minute adjustments to climo just like snow usually does around here. I like my power anyway.

Not accounting for WAA, that’s a wet snow soundingThe model sounds are saying rain for our area, though they just put us under a WWA for up to 2" of snow. I remain skeptical.

Well that's the current forecast so...I'm expecting mostly rain here like it's been 99% of the time this winter. Maybe a tenth of an inch of ice on the trees.

Interesting, I am right in the center of that.
Its my story, sad but true. Ice accrual will be difficult. A lot of heat to release under a blanket tonight.45/26 at RDU now . Sunny as heck , when the wind is calm feels warm .
I would take it with a grain of salt. Their maps are not always the most accurate.Dont laugh, okay go ahead, but TWC has the triangle out of the game for ice accrual. Their future radar show some fzrn, but accrual map no. It ends in a line from Asheboro to Burlington. Notta east and south of there.
If theyre right we wont need a grain of salt.I would take it with a grain of salt. Their maps are not always the most accurate.
Now that's funny. Thanks!?????If theyre right we wont need a grain of salt.
