Could we be talking about Eta for almost 2 weeks? Probably not 2 weeks but close to it, got to think a trough at some point during that time pulls it NE and finally out of here but 2020 right?

Gonna be like Election Commercials. By the time it finally exits stage right out into the Atantic we will all be fed up with/hearing about it.

Yeah t number of 7.0 is a borderline category 5 hurricane
If Eta manages to make it to a cat 5, it will only be the second ever cat 5 in November. It will also be the latest in the satellite era to ever form. The other one that beats it by a few days would be the Cuba hurricane of 1932. Only if Eta does what the Euro is showing and ramps back to a 5 will it be the latest cat 5 recorded.

What could this mean going forward anyone?

The storm can't go poleward because of a massive 588dm ridge to the north of it. The influence of the trough centered over the mountain states can begin to pull it to the WNW. The SE coast would be on alert.

EDIT: Meant WNW, not ENE.
