Yeah right now he basically has just a runny nose and a temp of 99.7, very very mild symptoms, he has a excellent immune system so that’s probably helping, and I appreciate it !
Mine is similar age. Worse at night and mostly just coughing. Laid in bed several days but got better in a week. He tested pos after he recovered and tried to go back to work.

Pretty good Letter to the Editor in today's Gainesville (Hogtown) Sun ...

Coronavirus competition

How can we better bounce back from the lockdown and restart Florida’s economic engine? Let’s think baseball.

What if we here in Gainesville, the heart of the Gator Nation, challenge Tallahassee, the sacred ground of the Seminole tribe, to a game of bounce back baseball? Each week the team with the lower COVID-19 positive test rate or the higher testing rate per 1,000 would score a run. Each inning would last one month. The game would continue for at least nine innings or until one city’s vaccine immunity reaches 75% of their population.

At the end of each inning, teams would share their scoring strategies with their opponents in an effort to raise the level of competition. Other cities could likewise pair up in similar challenges. The teams with the most improved coronavirus scorecards would be nominated to the Florida Bounce Back Baseball Hall of Fame

My 4yr old desperately needs a haircut and he is very very ticklish so it's hard to cut his hair without him squirming everywhere. We typically use great clips but may reconsider in the short term. My wife is cutting my hair but he wont sit still for us.

I have my 1st pony tail since 1983 ...

My dad is basically asymptomatic at this point, temp is 98.9, lost his stuffy nose, lost his cough, he’s laughing on the phone with friends and family, he’s supposedly taken this tea they take in Honduras but I don’t know the name, unfortunately my mom is feeling unwell, and she has a slew of health issues

That's good, hopefully things keep up there.

Keep an eye on your mom and make sure your dad pays attention to his symptoms and doesn't get complacent. Lots of cases worsen in the 8 to.10 day range.

That’s great. Hopefully he doesn’t have another spike in symptoms. I felt good on day 6 then spiked day 7, and get great day 8. This is a very weird virus...but since it’s mild and he seems to be recovering, I think that’s a very very good sign. Just don’t get too worried if he feels worse one of these following days. Try to stay hydrated as much as possible (until urine is clear) and take vitamin D (1000iu) and C (at least 2g daily) will help the immune system. Stuff like airborne or emerge-C also have zinc if it’s available.

Mom and dad has it yet somehow I don’t, (which he’s still doing well) is there any chance I’m asymptomatic because I’m younger ? I’m around my dad very often, and over the past few months ever since the Epstein Barr, I’ve built up a really good immune system and constantly have made healthier choices such as Taking vitamin C, better food, probiotics

My sister works at Tyson and keeps testing neg but her husband and kids are pos. You could have false positives, already had it or have a strong immune system.

How long has it been since you think you've been initially exposed? If it has been two weeks or longer (which it sounds like it may have been), you may be good, but I'd definitely plan on taking an antibody test if possible later on.

Absolutely.

My girlfriend, whom I live with, never showed symptoms. She ate after me because I thought some food was bad/stale but it’s just because my taste was gone. Per the doctor who tested me, most cases are from folks in the same household. But at the same time they say spouses sometimes never show symptoms. Keep in mind however that incubation period can be up to 14 days...mine was 11 days.

Yeah I was exposed quite a bit around 3-4 days ago, my mom was to and she started showing symptoms last night (she now has a fever), I did have a stuffy nose yesterday and the day before, but now it’s gone

We will be lucky not to have covid-19 go crazy in Union, Cherokee, and Spartanburg counties in SC after more than 1000 people got together for a block party near Jonesville last night.

Mom now has a fever of 102.3, way higher than my dad ever had, she has fibromyalgia, doctors are suspecting she has lupus as well, she also has blood pressure issues, however my dad is doing real well and is still basically showing no symptoms, his temperature was 99.1, talk about a unpredictable virus, so far I’m good and I’m bout to set up for some storm pictures at my apt

At the beach this weekend. It is absolutely slammed with people. Feels like life is back to normal and it’s a great thing. Everyone is happy and enjoying life.
Yeah, I'm at Carolina Beach. It seems like a normal weekend, maybe a little less busy than a normal Memorial Day weekend, though.

It was weird the first time I saw a restaurant doing dine in in months last night, though. I had almost forgotten what that looked like, haha!

Yep I dined in for the first time last night as well! 30 min wait to get in, people definitely not scared to get back out!

Just got finished with our road trip about 20 minutes ago. Traffic on I-20 heading out of Augusta was fairly heavy but not delayed. After there in the rural spots it was quite a bit lighter.

Atlanta was shockingly smooth. The connector was maybe 75% of normal for us if even that and we did not have any stoppages.

At the hotel the lobby is closed. I sprayed Lysol in the room, but boy I'm getting a headache from that lol.

Well, if you want a smorgasbord ...

Mexico reports 2,764 new cases and 215 new deaths.
Also China reports 11 new cases.
