I have been to Charleston SC and Savannah GA in the summer and they were unbearable as hell. But something about Atlanta in summer makes me want to seek shelter. I can imagine Columbia and Augusta are equally as hot.

Art museum is awesome , I go there at night all the time on the trails. Plus there’s the pedestrian bridge over 40, one night we got on there and peed onto oncoming traffic !
