I bet sat still ends up clouded up and partially wedged with 50s but the euro really wants to warm us up on sat now 
So are bathtub sloshing, EE, snow in dallas means snow everywhere, recurving typhoons mean trough in the east and more

Can you elaborate on it or is it like the icon warm bias and gfs cold bias. I have a feeling that you are hinting toward EAMT events but

Yeah I've never really paid a lot of attention to see if warm patterns translate from Asia to the US so I can't speak with a lot of confidence. There's probably some correlation but I'd like to see literature on it. Maybe one day if I ever get inspired enough I'll start making composite maps and what not

Got two record highs at GSP from March 2012. Mid 80s
That March 2012 pattern was total La Niña domination
Also just noticed the GSP monthly record high for March is 91F jeeeeez

Yep and everyone on this forum outside the mountains lives somewhere that sees it’s first 80 degree days in March on average ! So boom!
I’m pretty sure human skin melts at those values
I'd be ok with a similar March-April

@SD here’s a study about it. It’s similar to the Bering Sea rule! Basically has to do with the PNA and alternating regions of troughs and ridges !

Looking at spring 2012 Including March
1. Averaged out -PDO (typical favorable for warm East/colder west) and can influence severe in the plains (+ less and - more)
2. 2012 featured a +AMO
3. Currently in a transitioning La Niña just like 2012
This year is extremely similar with a -PDO, transitioning La Niña, and a +AMO, typical this combo is favorable for a western trough, and a SE US ridge, plains this year could be lit for chasing, I’m honestly seeing why people are going with a warmer March
Not to mention drought is literally in the same areas (not including the SE) but similar out west, wonder if this increases the strength of capping inversions wrt severe wx this year

Areas in Canada got up into the 80s for days with that, when most of those areas average there first 80 in later April and only 1 80 degree day in April

I really don’t believe that. Our laid back approach makes for an atmosphere inviting for even the most novice of weather enthusiasts .
on a side note @Myfrotho704_ your station runs too warm . Just like I called out @SD station I will call yours ! It hit 73 at CLT and 72 in concord . No way 75 at your house bro ! 75 in Fayetteville and 76 in Laurinburg.
