These quakes are scary. I remember the 1989 World Series quake and the damage it caused, and it was a 6.9 quake.
My dad said he’s been in a 3.9 once and it’s such a strange experience

Lucky this was in a less populated area in CA than the 89 quake. But is it just the beginning of more to come?
yeah the saving grace so far is both these quakes other than the city of Ridgecrest it's pretty rural out there, Death Valley is nearby and its far from Los Angeles
but yeah you have to wonder if its a precursor to a big one on the main fault
even the 1989 and 1994 quakes were around 7

Yikes! Scary thing is they could all be forshocks instead of aftershocks.
