Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

I am officially moving out of the town i've been in for the last 18 months. I will be out of here the first weekend in August ! Stay tuned to see where I'm moving to :)

I hear Elkin, NC is pretty nice. The skies are really sick rn, though!
 
Just a little bitter I didn't receive any rain over the past week, after nearly a 50 percent chance each day. Then the local weatherman gets on air and says "thank goodness we have a few dry days ahead". WTH....It didn't rain everywhere, still many places much below normal. Hope that tropical LP gets us in on some action (if it can come close enough).

Die Hard is still THE greatest action movie of all time.
 
I'm hearing that if a storm forms in the Gulf it will be named Barry. I wasn't aware there was already a named storm?
 
The one thing becoming crystal clear is, the Barry storm, is not gonna give SC , NC, and GA much rain! Maybe next time!?
 
I did have a wonderful vacation in Okaloosa Island Florida. Water was pretty clear Monday and Tuesday and even with choppier waters it wasn’t bad yesterday. Other then a few quick showers the weather hasn’t been to bad. Just hot and humid. I leave to go home tomorrow but will eat seafood on the beach today. Looking forward to some large waves. Florida has the clearest water and most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen.
