Clearly we are dealing with a high precipitable system here .. has the potential to unload precip at will .. in temps like that? Depending on dynamic issues that we will fine tune with short range guidance .. this is either going to be a heck of a lot of snow or a heck of a lot of ice .. most likely some of both .. insane the amount of precip we’re working with .. and with well below freezing temperatures
 
At least the ugly northwest trend seems to have stopped, snow totals increased on the southeast edge from 12Z
I’d bet the NW trend with the system continues. That said as was said earlier in this thread, an earlier phase and tilt would mean a more NW track, it would also pull in colder temps and may snow farther south.
