With this exact look we might get some sleet .. but good lord it certainly changes to freezing rain at some point .. we start really flaming here but right after this is when 850s crash and we get a back deform band .. sick stuff

Crossing Fl was NW vrs 12z. It’s cool cause it was a great run for y’all
Add this in addition and it would be totally devastating for East central and Eastern North Carolina.

At least the ugly northwest trend seems to have stopped, snow totals increased on the southeast edge from 12Z

Lows on Sunday morning. Yeesh. What an epic pattern
Honestly we are edging back to where Sunday 0z was. H5 is not far from that glory run at all, although it definitely benefits us in the west more than the east.
Major winter storm for a lot of folks!
Clearly we are dealing with a high precipitable system here .. has the potential to unload precip at will .. in temps like that? Depending on dynamic issues that we will fine tune with short range guidance .. this is either going to be a heck of a lot of snow or a heck of a lot of ice .. most likely some of both .. insane the amount of precip we’re working with .. and with well below freezing temperatures
I’d bet the NW trend with the system continues. That said as was said earlier in this thread, an earlier phase and tilt would mean a more NW track, it would also pull in colder temps and may snow farther south.
Last 3 euro snow maps. I mean that’s pretty consistent. Some of you near Raleigh might argue with me though 
Crazy that the mountains could get 2 feet + total within a week if you count last storm. Who is booking the Southernwx cabin?

The snow line is extending back more SE now (per this run). Hoping that is a trend that continues, so folks can deal with less FzRn issues. That ice map is a troubling sight.Last 3 euro snow maps. I mean that’s pretty consistent. Some of you near Raleigh might argue with me though
