6z gfs is much weaker and more suppressed. Biggest totals from RDU east.

And a lot of those totals for the RDU area are from the first wave. I'm still not sure that part of the storm will produce much. Wow..

GFS is on an island just like it was 24-72 hours out leading up to the last storm with being to warm. It’s an outliner. HRRR going to deliver the boom later.

Good haha. Really not too worried about GFS being more suppressed right now, that's better than continuing too amped. Now at 12z if the NAM and RGEM start coming in flatter and more suppressed then I'll take notice but still wouldn't be too concerned.

So the extracted bufkit data has RDU at 9.2 on the NAM which is more than the kuchera maps showed

Yeah, the 5H chart looked to be between the nam and RGEM. Definitely more northern stream dig than the globals from what I saw. Which way do you think the trends will go today?

It's been fascinating on the models in the last 36 hours how the Kuchera maps are showing more than the 10:1 ratios on a fairly consistent basis. Seems rare for these parts.

Me too! I'll be happy to just see some snow fall and maybe a little dust up although things could still trend a better for a lot of folks, doubt it does here but I don't give up until last minute and it's fast approaching. lol I'm glad you guys are still in the game good luck!
