Getting signs of a developing band with this 
The 18z GFS hinted at a nice band developing there up towards the western Triangle that would increase totals for some of us on the western periphery. Will be watching that closely.

Interested in any prelim ZR reports along the Crystal Coast, looked like some light icing this morning, moderate returns now and this is really the beginning for that area.
Yeah we’re starting to fill in that gap on the returns… the air here is noticeably starting have a bit more moisture to it

As usual Pitt Co will be the last to fill in, its our curse....the latest runs however give me hope that it will be worth the wait, some very fine snizzle right now...

Wow … the snow band in pinehurst/southern pines is impressive. WRAL has a webcam in pinehurst.

Another mPing report of snow in Gwinnett County.
That’s so cool when that happens and it’s so rare around here. Should be the case for almost all of us in NC that this sticks to the roads immediately. Haven’t seen that since 2014!

Nothing falling here, 37 degrees. I saw a car drive by with it's windshield wipers going. Could be something falling just down the road?
You might be in a good spot. I just drove from my house in Cary to my girlfriends near Fuquay because it’s just a little further east. I saw the band setting up and thought this would be a better spot.

Light rain in Forest Park, GA, 38 degrees.
Not sure why you are saying this...thus playing out just like the most recent model guidance has suggested. We probably won't get going in the Triad until a little later, so patience is needed. Now, I'm not expecting a huge total but I fully expect a heavy dusting up to a couple of inches.
