You are probably right. This period checked all the boxes here crippling snow, crippling ice, snow on snow, snow on frozen ground that accumulated from the first flake. I wish young weenie SD had known the next 2 decades would be dookie so he would have appreciated it more
One has to go through dookie in order to be able to appreciate. You're welcome!?

How can anyone not go outside today and then realistically want it to be cold? It’s phenomenal outside.

Because pollen sucks. Pollen ruins spring, humidity ruins summer and disappointment ruins winter! Give me fall all year round. Pleasant temps, pretty leaves and comfortable temps

Well.... not sure we can eek out anything for the books so far as snowfall in Concord this season. I'm shocked and just ready to move on and forget about this entire winter...
Here's to Winter 23/24.
(Unless we have some weird late March early April event).. fingers crossed but just barely.

Less snowfall and even no snowfall shouldn’t be shocking. This is what we’ve trended to for a while. You’ll have a blip every few years but the southern snows are going by the wayside like the snows on Kilimanjaro.

That said with an active pacific jet I do think the mountains will continue to support some good snows for years to come.

Agreed on the towel throw. March cold, of course, and as expected, is weak sauce. Really wish we'd just keep the 70s moving forward. The 50s are going to feel really chilly and annoying through the rest of March.

Lesson learned this winter, Western trough will continue until proven otherwise. Don't know why, but we're stuck in a never ending western trough pattern. Hopefully it's Nina, but I doubt it.

I really think it was hunga tonga that blew this winter up in the SE. All that water vapor in the stratosphere really messed with the Arctic.

I remember Kilimanjaro was supposed to lose its glaciers by 2020, which hasn’t happened yet.
