Finally! People are accepting the reality that many of us have known since the last week in December. If you lose January in the SE in a la nina, winter is closed.

You know as soon as you see the first flake you'll freak out. You don't have to act like a hard @**I have no interest in snow in March. It will melt a couple hours later anyway.
Don’t worry, it’s not happening for Atlanta.I have no interest in snow in March. It will melt a couple hours later anyway.
If it did he would mention the sun angle before anything elseDon’t worry, it’s not happening for Atlanta.
Which, in these parts, is closed until at least December 15th. I know, we've had snow in late February and early March...but it's extremely rare.Looks like it’s closed until at least late Feb-early March
Still looking to chase snow in TN or NC. If that is in late February or early March, so be it.Looks like it’s closed until at least late Feb-early March
I'll take it. I just do not want cold and dry.
Gee; warm and wet huh? Wow, we NEVER get any of that!I'll take it. I just do not want cold and dry.
240hr Euro is setting up for a Wedge event in the 280-300 hr time frame, imo. Doesn't mean anything, but it adds support to the GFS/GEFS showing the potential for a CAD setup of some sort. Would like to see the EPS trend that way.

---- it’s weeks away down here. Can’t wait!Just think, 4 months from now 80s for highs become normal across much of the SE and pools are opening, it’s closer then we think, it’s coming fast. Avg highs in the 70s only 2.5 months from today. Spring and summer is quickly approaching
You're right. Seems like just yesterday it was Thanksgiving and that was 2 months ago. Believe it or not most people love the heat. Why do you think people are flocking to Florida in droves ?There are some sick people on this site, lol. How can someone living in the SE, where we already get spring and summer weather for 7 to 8 months of the year, where we get maybe 3 to 4 months of "fallish" weather with a couple of smatterings of winter like weather, where we are already experiencing one of our warmest Januarys ever, already be wishing for even more spring and summer weather?
I mean there's not too many places around where you can escape the "cold" if you can't do it here. South Florida maybe? You can have your 12 months of heat, humidity, allergies, weeds, bugs, grass cutting, sweating, etc there if that's really your bag.
I would take cold if we could get snow or sleet with it. But what are single digit temps and bone dry good for. We almost had a major disaster at Christmas because it was so cold. We do not need those kinds of temps ever again. There are some sick people on this site, lol. Some people like being outdoors and doing outdoor activities in the summer like swimming, car meets, beach time and other fun summertime activities. Not everyone wants cold or wants what you want. I checked the pollen count for Tallahassee this week so I'm sure it's the same where you're at, it's in the moderate range already. It's about to get good.---- it’s weeks away down here. Can’t wait!
I'm hoping our neighborhood pool opens in February this year.Just think, 4 months from now 80s for highs become normal across much of the SE and pools are opening, it’s closer then we think, it’s coming fast. Avg highs in the 70s only 2.5 months from today. Spring and summer is quickly approaching
Means the coming out party of the neighborhood mi…nvm not thread friendlyI'm hoping our neighborhood pool opens in February this year.
Exactly and if people likes winter that well, then they are in the wrong place in the SE they need to move up North. Only thing you can do in the cold is sit in the house in front of TV drinking Coffee. Now I do like to see a snow or 2 here but if we don't get one and it's just gonna be Cold and Dry or Cold rain then I just assume for it to be spring/SummerSome people like being outdoors and doing outdoor activities in the summer like swimming, car meets, beach time and other fun summertime activities. LOL I could never live in Florida...---- it’s weeks away down here. Can’t wait!
I mean that's fine and all, but in this part of the country we already have a very long spring and summer to do all that. It's not like there aren't plenty of hot days throughout the year; complaining because its not hot enough during the few short months of fall winter that we do get is like people in MN complaining they want more cold in July. Heck, half this month has been in the 60s; if it weren't for all the rain that is perfect for any outdoor activity but swimming. I'm just wanting some seasonal weather for our short winter, you're wanting more of what we already have plenty of. You have a right to it, but if it's too cold for you here I don't know what to say. Some people like being outdoors and doing outdoor activities in the summer like swimming, car meets, beach time and other fun summertime activities. I've said many times I have no desire for upper Midwest type weather, I just want some winter weather that reflects our "normals" for our area. Our "cold" is just child's play, including the cold we had over Christmas. I for one enjoyed it very much and found lots to do beside "sit in the house in front of the TV drinking coffee" (i don't even drink coffeeExactly and if people likes winter that well, then they are in the wrong place in the SE they need to move up North. I would much rather be outside during our fall and winter months than during the heat, humidity, and bugginess of the summer. I love the snow and wish we got more of it; but I love the cooler months even more. If it's not going to snow; I'll still take all the cool/"cold" I can get. There's more than enough heat and humidity throughout the rest of the year.
Gnats flying around, sweating in 5 seconds, weeds in the flower beds, huge AC bills, yeah awesomeI Love being outside when it's 30-40 degree's. Absolutely despise having to do anything outside when it's 90+degrees with high humidity. Not sure how anyone can think Summertime is better for outdoor activity than winter here.
So much fun when you work outside for a living and you wake up at 7am and it’s already 85 degrees with a dewpoint of 107Gnats flying around, sweating in 5 seconds, weeds in the flower beds, huge AC bills, yeah awesome

Well you have open heart surgery like I have then come back and tell me you like cold better than hot. You would change your mind Quick!I Love being outside when it's 30-40 degree's. I used to work in a post surgical rehab hospital; lots of cardiac bypass, hip and knee replacement patients. Cardiac surgery is a tough recovery, I am glad you made it through and are kicking on the other side!Well you have open heart surgery like I have then come back and tell me you like cold better than hot. I do like cold to and extent and like one good snow or 2 but after that I'm ready for spring and summer. If it gets below 45° I can't handle it to stay outside

To me the weather here really sucks. It's usually too cold in winter (but never snows of course) to really enjoy outside, not this winter of course. And way too miserable in the summer to be outside. So spring and fall it is for me.I mean that's fine and all, but in this part of the country we already have a very long spring and summer to do all that. But.... Summertime thunderstorms makes it all worth it as long as it storms.Gnats flying around, sweating in 5 seconds, weeds in the flower beds, huge AC bills, yeah awesome
