Happens every ----ing day for me.
Well I just missed it today… outflow boundary from the north collided with another one from the southwest right over me… I got a two minute downpour while just east of me is getting absolutely drenched
Today's high at DFW was 104°F.
This little thing dropped 0.5 bringing the monthly to 8.6 and 11.2 since June 1st. 
The lies this thing tells....

Looks like your going to be in 100-105 temp range for at least the next two weeks.
I’m always impressed by how this type of humid airmass is so efficient on putting out impressive rain totals. I only had about 10 minutes of rainfall this evening with just about half of it being a downpour, and still ended up with .21”. That puts me at 7.53” this month

This storm is putting out some solid wind and rain, sheesh.

Have we had enough summer yet? This is why it's not good for anyone to not rain and just be endless heat 
Maybe. Still some uncertainty this weekend with the weakness in the ridge and a cold front pushing SW (could also lend to rain chances).

Huge difference between the NAM and the HRRR today. I hope the NAM verifies.
Yep it's been a weird summer. June I only had rain twice for 2.6 total. This month has put down good totals but still had several dry streaks. When it does rain it throws it down quick! But this humidity it takes to get this is oppressive!
Still BN here need about 2 inches this week to finish AN

Beginning of the month was solid. 2 storms in 5 days gave me 4.8" of rain. Then just enough to keep me out of trouble. 0.35 and few hundreths here and there and then a 0.63 and then 0.37 over the last 6 or 7 days.

Positive thinking ! Maybe you’ll get something hooping at the Y later ! But most likely you’ll just get dunked on by some young dude and then missed by the storms !

None of the CAMs showing this.
Models have been on the struggle bus. Same areas get more rain. It won't rain in SE Wake for anything.
I think we are in a good spot. Ofb from the wake storms inching south the stuff back near Albemarle moving this way with what looks like a weak mcv

It has been absolutely dumping buckets here for the last 15 minutes… already at 1.07” and looking at the radar everything seems to be moving SW to NE for the first time in a while
HRRR most recent for 2 pm and what’s actually happening. Only model even close to what’s actually happening is the FV3 .. hard to put any more faith in these short range models for the next several days as each day is basically the same setup

Bout to get manhandled.
Yeah we’re getting mothershipped right now. Confirmed strong gusts in apex from my mom. Only a matter of time now. HRRR and almost all convective allowing models said I should be tanning in UV 11 sun rays right now. Sheesh.

Activity looks poised to miss me by a mile to the north again. We'll see. At least I can hear the thunder. It's severe warned.
Today has been a storm train. One after the other. This is the stormiest summer I can remember us having around here in a long time.
Has Shetley’s Desert moved to your house??
Now he just needs to come post here, along with Kat from WRAL.
It's gotta be a cool experience to have a legit storm pass over your location and get a inch or more of rain or to have 2 storms in a day
It has to be cause it sure ain't over his house anymore.
