Pattern July '22

Well defined mcv in the gso area. We need sun. Now. Gotta erode the remaining cinh
How come they can get plenty of storms with clouds but we have to have 150 degree temps with dewpoints in the 130s before it rains here?

They are getting lucky with the mcv moving right over head. You'd think we would be good to go in a couple of hours with both SB and ML capes over 3k and the mcv inching our way but the radar is unexciting so far

Same reason your temp is 35 degrees and DP is 32 degrees and the 850s are +1
Right as precip moves in in January! ??
Currently 85 here

@SD We lose again. Northern half of wake north win again.

And yes, yet another record minimum low was broke this morning at DFW, which was 85*F (previous record was 83*F in 2011).

Yet another record high minimum of 83*F was set this morning at DFW (previous record was 82*F in 2011).

DFW made it to 100*F before an outflow boundary moved through, dropping temps into the mid 90s.

Quite the totals from a cluster of T-storms early this morning!

My PWS received 1.33" today (including 0.01" from a brief thundershower moving close by the past half an hour). Otherwise another nicely warm, muggy day today with the high being 89.9°F @ my PWS—with dew points in the 79-81°F range this afternoon...before the aforementioned T-storm's outflow cooled things off to 81/75°F as of 6 PM.

Looks like July will end on a wet note here in East Tennessee/Tennessee Valley.. I hope this is right. High temps will go down into the 80s again too. Still dry and hot in the Carolinas though:

Crazy my area is up one level with all the rain recently. I’m over 7” for the month now.
Yeah that map is crap. My ground is more than recharged and my creek is running at spring levels. I had to break the dark colored lures out to get the bass to bite.
