Just drive 1 mile south of the wake county border and you will have plenty of clear skiesAm I bad for secretly looking forward to the clear nights coming next week? Stargazing is relaxing , can’t wait !

A few dry days does not a drought make but also a few wet days does not a drought erase

From the looks of your radar, you may just need to move about 10-15 miles in any directionCan someone help me understand what you have to do to get rainView attachment 85104
Bring it on we need some actual organized stuff we’ve been dealing too much with these run of the mill stuffOh man that’s how you get some organized storm complex with a wind threat in June View attachment 85110View attachment 85111View attachment 85112
Will be dry ! At least will be able to stargaze though.
Who cares about the neighbors rain gauge? What about his rain gauge? You know how these summer storms go. You can get 5" and the house across from you can get blanked.Actually my dad won. He is 7 miles east of me. His neighbors rain guage this morning.
Seeing these keep happening is really starting give me summer 1989 and 1999 vibes. Both of those years we continued to have troughs move through the east all summer. Now there was heat at times and plenty of humidity, but the heat was rarely intense. As both of those summers progressed, we got wetter and of course both years had major tropical issues in the Carolinas as we got into September
Summer 2009 was really nice; summers that mild in the SE are very exceptionally rare, however. This summer (so far anyway) is reminding me a little of 2004Seeing these keep happening is really starting give me summer 1989 and 1999 vibes.
