Trough faster, ridge stronger, should be farther west this run.

All the path will depend on the shortwave coming out from behind the trough. In the Dakotas at 108.

Oh man, this is going to be something Phil may want to not look at. I believe the shortwave will lift it up at the worst possible timing... or miss it entirely? Hitting Cuba at 132.

Have family in 2 parts, and neither need it. Cuba seems to weaken it a bit, and may just cause a wild solution .

Based on the 500mb pattern, this thing will now just drift, nothing to push it anywhere fast while stuck between the ridges.

Hate to tell you, but there is no such thing.
It may meet or exceed codes, but nothing is "hurricane proof".
