Doesn’t seem like there is much precip over the ice storm warning area. I know it doesn’t take much freezing rain to cause problem, but there isn’t much out there, particularly over Kentucky.

If someone's lucky. With the rain already in progress and we're waiting for the cold to filter down, just screams bust.
Need fractional temps on these sites are they rounding 32.4 down and 31.6 up? Big difference

I know temps before the front don’t mean everything, but busting 14 degrees above the forecasted high with a temp of 59 was a sign of things to come.

Heading to Fancy Gap, VA for a ski trip with friends. Grandparents have a huge cabin there. Models show .3-.5 qpf of ZR tonight and tmrw.. may be fun lol
Where are you skiing? Closest place I can think of is Winterplace, but that’s not super close, either.

My temp has dropped from 48 at noon to 41 three hours later and it is still falling steadily.
Seriously they just issued a WWA here..... I don't see it but I guess better safe than sorry.

If models are off by 1-2 degrees .. you can have something dangerous like Austin happen .. it only takes 1/10th of an inch and if it doesn’t get good coverage people can get caught off guard

Hmmmmm. To me, doesn't make sense to declare an advisory for your counties on the border, but not those to your west.
The no advisory counties are RNK. Looks like RAH and RNK are not coordinating on this event.

39,pouring rain,temps fallen off fast this evening.
Glad we are set to get 5 to 6 inches qpf between now and Tuesday with a screwed up tpv and confluence. Hate to have seen 5 days of on an off snow.
