GFS has a hurricane making landfall in NC off in fantasy land. It develops the storm right around the Bahamas. Seems odd
It and the CMC have been sniffing it, though the CMC seemed to see it first. This might be one of the first years I have seen the CMC do well, so if it and the Euro are onto a storm, we may very well get one.The Euro keeps trying to sniff out something in the eastern MDR after next week, which again is strongly supported by the background environment around this time frame and is the first time this entire season that this model has actually tried to develop anything east of the Lesser Antilles for more than 1 run...

Both the Euro and the CMC, but to the CMC, I say NOOOOOO!Pretty decent signal for another gulf storm around d10
Let's try not to reel in a shark though, lol.lets reel this one in boys![]()
Sharknado lolLet's try not to reel in a shark though, lol.
That's what normally happens. The shredder.CMC and GFS are pretty identical at 102.
EDIT: CMC never develops it and GFS is heading for the shredder
If what you're looking at is at 240, it's awfully far south ... may not be a concern.Euro is the only model besides the NAVGEM showing a system. Unfortunately, if it makes it west, it could be our first hurricane of the year.
CMC has a system too, but much later. And yikes. This run makes a TC in 2 days...Uh oh...

Appears so! For once the Euro isn't being suppressing everything.Euro has Franklin and Gert lol... stop the presses!
Headed for the shredder that run . Nice ridge to the norththe one approaching the Antilles at 168 looks to be headed for a threatening US position
Issue is the GFS updated. It is even worse than the Euro on suppression it seems. The CMC has something as well, as does the NAVGEM, but neither have both systems. Something to watch though.Im sure because the euro shows something people will start to hype despite the fact the gfs has nothing

Killed it in the tropics. Because it was so bad, they warned us ahead of time. Right now, the CMC and GFS lead in the season, but if both storms form, the Euro will pas them.I think the upgrade killed the gfs lol
