May be?

56/35 wind=dead not Bueno. Put my thermometer at about 8 inches instead of 10 ft to see what kind of temps we get at plant level

RDU 48, Greensboro 54, Charlotte 55.... Please, someone, explain that to me, why does RDU station record so much lower. Bit of a frost hollow?

Where are the clouds SD! If they aren't here by midnight say hello to 27 degrees tomorrow morning. Temps plummeting down to 50/32 at RDU already after a high of 63.
The stuff in Tn and some thinner clouds in Al/Ga may get here.

Already 46 imby

it gets dark in the East first. Higher elevations west can hold some sunlight longer too.

Already down to 43. Not looking good.
Same , 28-30 is looking inevitable at this point. Im sure you will be fine , you arent Raleigh which is renowned for its crystal clear windless night skies.

In all seriousness where are the clouds yall! Its already cold enough for frost

42 now. I’ve got everything tarped with fans running. I thought about making fires but that’s too much.

Temp has really flat lined over the last hour 39.2 at 11 and 39.0 now. The massive free fall is probably over and its just a trickle down from here on out. I figure we end up in the 34-35 range

As is often the case, temps (especially lows) will end up verifying warmer than the model consensus by a few degrees due to never ever present cold bias.

Meanwhile, I took a glorious walk this evening with 64 F and dewpoint in the high 40s. still another hard to beat May evening! Still have a few more days of this before heat sets in. Going to be a big change to hot in much of the SE! what a wildly volatile month this is fixing to be!

Looks like I am going to bottom out about 30 F this morning on May 10, glad the temp is supposed to rebound to make for a beautiful Mother's Day.

34 yesterday and I am at 36 this am. This am I see a lot of colder wunderground stations in the valley floor locations are 29-31 so not real great. DP came up to 30 is overnight so I expect frost is pretty common too.

No frost around here. So much for the big freeze down this way. At least the models haven't forgotten how to do winter forecasting right!
