41F at my house in Wilson and a wet bulb of 37.2 right now. Temp has steadily fallen from a high of 45.1 earlier today.

What's your temperature where you're at, Eric? On weather underground, a lot of people's temps are still in the lower 40s. Crazy it's sleeting that hard. I know it can sleet in the 40s, just figured that would be knocking the temps down a little faster.

39/25 with light snow/flurries
We have FINALLY edged below 40F here. 39/36 with a mod/heavy ip/rn mix
I got a dusting!
I am in Jasper, Ga. Sleet mixing in with some heavier returns here. I don’t have a thermometer, but about 38 degrees. Hoping to get a little changeover to all snow. I can at least hope!

HRRR inside 12 hours and especially 6 hours is good at picking up where banding occurs. It's a good sign for folks like yourself.

Eyewall in his map showed what is likely happening from the Triad back to the foothills, down sloping is drying the air out and effectively diminishing our QPF

I can report flurries/snow showers in Oak Ridge, NC. Just northwest of Greensboro.

Yes it has. I'm glad that we don't have to waste any precip on rain/sleet changeover. I'm getting ready to head home to NW Randolph county. Hopefully we can get at least .3" qpf and overperform with decent rates and banding.

Legit snow here now, finally. Temp has dropped a full 2 degrees in 15 minutes.
Latest hrrr looks even better, Sets up a death band of heavy wet snow

Winding to close here. Nice flakes falling but no longer enough to add to accumulation. 2 inches on the ground. Probably 3+ fell.
