5:19 of my life I will never get back (this isn't an attack on you personally Larry :)), but to me what's in this is exactly what the left has been saying all along, nothing new here. But since we're linking tweets of liberal politicians let's show the rebuttals..

VP tells foreign leader to fire their Fed Prosecutor or you don't get the 1 Billion dollars, "well son of a b...., he was fired" and that's permissible.
President discusses looking into corruption from our own government officials with foreign leader and that's not.... that's confusing.

Yeah I see your point, I mean the Dems stood by Bill Clinton through all his lies, deceit, depravity right on through impeachment and now look how socialist and toxic the dem party is.

Also it's written by a dug in "never trumper" from day one and also a contributor to NBC and MSNBC, not suggesting he's liberal but rather making sure everything is in context.

He could be liberal but is the message wrong? Is Amash's point incorrect? What price is the GOP gonna pay for this support of trump?

One of the angles I argued as a never Trumper before the nomination was that we could be sacrificing the war to win the battle. I still feel that way. The trump experiment could easily reign in years of democrat control. I believe the trump base could have mistakingly helped bring about the very thing they wanted to prevent. A bigger further lurch to the socialism side of the democrat party and their chances of winning.

Not sure we can lay blame on trump and his supporters for the radical left movement. Sanders was there before trump and Obama wasn't exactly middle of the road.

And not everyone who voted for trump sacrificed their morals to do so, it may appear that way but if I waited for the perfect candidate to come along I probably never vote for president again. And I know there are those who refuse to vote for the candidates we have and that's their right to do so. In fact as I have stated on more than one occasion my morals had a lot to do with my last minute decision to vote for trump. Just his judicial appointments alone have borne that fact out to be true for now anyway.

As to the rest of your comments and that opt in only time will tell but my gut tells me that both corrupt parties will survive just fine.

And if this is difficult to read my apologies, speak text still has yet to understand my Southern drawl

I've hated trump since he was elected. Now that the impeachment is going on, he CANNOT come back.

Well because the official US/EU position was Shokin had to go, this notion that Biden went after Shokin because he was investigating his son or him is just wrong, Biden Jr was never under investigation by Shokin.....in fact the reason the US/EU wanted Shokin gone is he was corrupt and taking bribes to look the other way and in general not going after the corruption hard enough.

There is zero evidence there was any corruption on the Biden's part in the Ukraine. The Ukrainians have never investigated them because there is no need to as there is no signs of a crime etc.....Trump is going on information he got through Rudy who got it from Parnas who got it from Firtash who got it from Shokin......who blames Biden for losing his job, so shocker the disgraced corrupt former Ukrainian prosecutor is saying Biden is dirty even though all other sources say there is nothing there.

So when the president of the USA ask a foreign government to investigate his political rival who that government really has no real reason to investigate in a attempt to discredit the guy who has a 10 pt lead on him in the polls and then on top of that makes them receiving US aid and access contingent on that investigation it is very much different and should not be confusing at all. Trump did this solely for personal reasons.......he should never have named Biden......by doing that it exposes his actual motivation and turns this into a massive abuse of power situation.....in fact this is exactly the kind of stuff the founders had in mind when they wrote the words " high crime" when it comes to impeachment. Give it time, in a few weeks and this will be much clearer as the House begins to publically show all the details and put the pieces together.
 
This article illustrates how the WH knew the call was dynamite and tried to bury it......so if what Trump did was no big deal and legal why this huge effort to prevent it getting out, and why did so many people on the call react like they did.....the answer is simple they all knew Trump stepped in it and that this was potentially a massive abuse of power issue...

Or the answer could be as simple as the democrats would investigate the tag on Trump's coat to see if it were a campaign finance violation.

That or Trump knew the dems would run with it and try to impeach him which is what he has been trying to goad them into for a while.

This is a legitimate issue, everyone that has touched it and reviewed it says it is, the CIA consul that was first given a copy by the WB referred it to the DOJ as a criminal referral, the Intelligence IG says its a legitimate issue, numerous people in the WH reported the call as soon as it was over......this is not a witch hunt this is Trump did something that is legit impeachable, once they started looking into that and found the quid pro quo stuff concerning aid and access it took on a whole other level, then just for fun lets toss on Rudy and his band of merry little Ukrainians funneling money illegally into Trump and other GOP candidates campaigns to buy access.....so no its not as simple as the Dems just going after Trump for something stupid and minor.....the fire under all this smoke is raging out of control.....

It is a legit issue, the question is how common is this. If it is very common and just hid from public eyes by a Congress that typically looks the other way, yet here they have a Congress that is trying to find anything it would explain why they tried to bury it.

But yes there is a fire raging and it is legit, but so is the fire in my oven or woodstove. The democrats have cracked the door to let the public smell the fire, but at the end of the day they will take the blame for trying to burn the house down.

I can't think of any politicians that have been investigated by another country, much less one running for president.

Your last sentence depends solely on public opinion. If they bring the proof needed to show guilt why would the pubic blame them for anything? If they fail to provide a solid case then your assertion could work.

It does, and looking at how public opinion has ended up sets up a good precedent. It's not enough that they have solid evidence, the question is can they convey it to the public and do they have enough credibility with the public. Here is where the dems have really messed up. With the news for last several years talking about Russia and for the last year or so with all the dems allegations and investigations; it will be hard for the public who are not democrats themselves to care. This will only get harder when it gets to the Senate and the GOP goes on the offensive.

And we didn't know that the government was storing phone calls until a few years ago when Snowden leaked it.

Just because we haven't heard it, does not mean it isn't common place.

The thing about political threads like this is that people spend so much time advocating for whatever their position is on the issue but in the end it doesn't change the views of other people. People either hate Trump or like him, there is very little middle ground with most people.

Some of y’all need to get off the internet/forums/phone and spend more time outside or with friends and family enjoying the blessings we have here in America. People waste WAY too much time on Twitter, message boards, news sites, etc. debating things like this and other topics rather than just getting out and enjoying life.

I haven’t been posting much for this very reason, with a family I would rather invest my time in my kids and wife by giving them undivided attention and quality time vs wasting it on my phone/computer in various ways and missing out on what really matters most in life.

Snow smow, its the least worthy of all "interesting" weather to track....I mean I do it cause its what I do but I absolutely hate tracking winter threats.....its like watching paint dry......and 95% of the time it ends up busting and NEVER EVER EVER to the good mind you, I cant remember the last time I was suppose to get 3" and ended up with a8-12" hit, cause that absolutely does not happen here.....so all you snow weenies enjoy the next 4 months of primarily disappointment.....while I bide my time till severe storm season rolls back around hopefully by the end of Feb......

As for Snow's point I have changed folks minds about Trump, the hardest part of being wrong is admitting it.....

Not main stream news and not liberal professors. Many people, military, that have dedicated their lives to America and truth. Facts are important. Proofs are necessary. Nothing will stop what is coming. Hate Trump and be fooled but nothing will stop the indictments and purge of the corrupt. Anybody KNOWINGLY pushing the lies and hoaxes (even mainstream media) will pay the price. Anybody involved in treason, crimes against humans (children) will pay the price. I do think for myself, I think that Trump loyalists resort to name calling and incoherent rambling when they are confronted with facts.
