Wintry Winters Last Stand / March 11th-13th Winter Storm

The Para GFS looks great. Just not sure how much stock to put in it.
 
Cold Rain was posting before coffee.
 
Definitely a little sharper this run maybe we can end up with a more expansive precip shield....

@36 it does look a little more juiced
 
There's an interesting conundrum around CAE. Heavy precip, cold 850s. but 2m sucks im sure.

Low is further south this run but good run for southern NC/ Upstate SC, norther Ga might get in on action too.....
 
The warm nose must be right in the middle of north ga. A lot of models have that arc around Dawson/ Forsyth/ Gainesville. ... lol
 
I'll take my 2.2 inches that actually stick imby. If you know what I mean.

SUPPOSEDLY this is what has actually accumulated and based on the kuchera ratio:

Despite the s/w being stronger this run, the NAM gives a nod to the global models in showing continued suppression of this first wave... The slightly delayed timing is to blame and allows for the SE CAN vortex to more effectively squash our storm. NAM may not be done trending south & more suppressed...
 
^ to go with the map above, is around 2 - 2/12 iches of snow depth in the midlands.
