I feel like we’re next up, Kylo. Could be next year or it could be winter 2030..I just don’t know

I would take the latter. This is our 5th AN winter in a row. Fortunately transient cold shots is enough for us to see snow. Call me a sucker but I still think we see a 7-10 day period with a chance or two sometime before early March.

Man that's ugly. Alaska warm and the SER has still dominated the east. What gives here? Those two usually don't teleconnect I didn't think?

My thoughts exactly. High latitude blocking has been hard to come by

We're really tracking flurries in the main thread...not even our flurries, someone else's! Sad.

Not even someone else's. We're tracking the chance that flurries may fall withing 50 MILES of someone else. THAT is the depth to which we have sunk this winter. I don't know if it gets sadder than that.
