@Rain Cold seems workable? ?

If we lived in a world where the gfs was the best model I would agree. Don't look at the eps unless you want to see more melted red crayons across the SEI don’t think we are done. Bamwx gonna be angry.

You'd think no but with the tpv once again trying to consolidate poleward and likely doing so in NW Canada/Alaska with a secondary piece over Scandinavia hard to imagine a way to deliver much more than the 1-2 day behind the fronts cold into the SE. Obviously for some this has worked out but it to me seems like more of the same. There are some possibilities to theorize post day 10 where maybe the pv slides more into the hudson bay region or retrogrades enough into east asia where you could get into a better pattern for the last week of feb into march but we've been chasing that carrot for 2 months.![]()
That look can’t be too warm can it? If correct.

yeah, im glad chattanooga finally got one, its been a while for you guysHome from work, still snow on the ground in patches. Drive to work earlier today was a little dicey, even with temps around 32. I'm still a little giddy thinking about it. Complete surprise we got as much as we did. Was not even remotely expecting this little southern snow storm that could..
Nice. 0% chance it looks that way in 24 hours.@Rain Cold seems workable? ? View attachment 33696
Did you get snow yesterday? If you did then your winter has been much better than mineThe pattern has been and will continue to be absolute trash! Yesterday's little miracle for a few folks doesn't change that. Carry on!
It’s not uncommon to have some low 70s for high temps in the winter and then go into the freezer right after. In fact this little tidbit from the Nashville weather service was just posted this morning.Dps getting into the mid 60s in Jan AND Feb the same year for days on end here? Never seen or that before.

More fear mongering
called global warming... lol
More fear mongering and politicizing it so it polarizes people to not fix underlying causes that are actually damaging the environmentMore realism.

Negative I did not receive accumulating snow from either event. Officially a trace both times. I'm located at the red dot. I'm glad GA and the western upstate cashed in. They deserved it! But doesn't change the fact that for about 90% of the SE this winter is abysmal! Maybe we can pull a miracle but time is running short!Did you get snow yesterday? If you did then your winter has been much better than mine

Well let's see, I am 55 years old and I have seen 2 true Blizzards here in March. I have seen many snows, but only 2 true blizzards (1980 and 1993). That puts the odds at 1/55 or about 1.8%. The odds of just getting snow are much higher.What’s the chances of a March blizzard?

And very, very long. Probably last from end of February through most of August (although from June through August it will be primarily through MCS/derecho events) I think all of us will have property damage within the next 3 years because it is gonna be ugly!I bet severe weather season will be quite intense. Could be wrong though

I may get huge criticism for this, but I'm actually predicting a east coast blizzard that I think could occur sometime during the tail end of this month or by March 10th. I'm putting a long time window on it, because at this time, I'm not sure yet when exactly when the storm could form.What’s the chances of a March blizzard?

If you’re right, you will become a legend in my book.I may get huge criticism for this, but I'm actually predicting a east coast blizzard that I think could occur sometime during the tail end of this month or by March 10th. I'm putting a long time window on it, because at this time, I'm not sure yet when exactly when the storm could form.
The blizzard of '93 was a 1 out of 100 year storm, that storm was a freak of nature. The blizzard that I'm predicting is a 1 out of 200 year storm. Look at it this way, if the blizzard of '93 was a 1 out of 100 year storm, that puts the last severe historical winter storm back in 1893 (give or take). Matter of fact, there was a severe blizzard in 1899. So the blizzard of '93 was indeed a 1 out of 100 year storm (1993-1899= 94 years to be exact.)
It's a start of a new decade -- 2020, take 200 years off, that puts the year back to 1820. There was indeed another severe snow storm, known as the "Great Snow Storm." Even though that's not exactly 250 years, it's 189 years to be exact. The "Great Snow Storm" brought snow from Georgia to Maine!
The blizzard that I'm predicting, I think it may be more severe than the blizzard of '93.
