Energy shifts in here like the GFS. One hour there is endless hope, the next hour there is endless doom. Sheesh. Been in here for years & it still catches me by surprise lmao
Part of me feels like someway somehow we reel this one in because we are due. But the other part of me knows how this story ends.
Yeh I feel ya. Internally I feel the same frustration also, I just have tried to stay more neutral than anything. There was a time where I’d come on here & on social media & vent my frustration of never seeing anything in Columbia. Then I realize no one cared & that the atmosphere sure as hell didn’t care. Lol
That’s confirmation that we aren’t very good at Winter.

That tells you the -NAO is completely useless anymore. I never thought I'd ever say that. It's all Pac driven and it doesn't matter if there is a big GOA ridge or GOA low the Pacific is going to wreck the whole pattern no matter what
Brad's not the only one thinking we'll go snowless.
Mountains will get smoked late next weekend so if you like snow enough you’ll go see it. No excuses

I think for the most part, veteran broadcast mets, or those that deal with weather all day for the general public would be as far away from a discussion forum about it as they could be.

NC mountains on North look to be the best bets now.
I’m not taking no for an answer this time. We are gonna get a snowstorm from this. The cold will arrive before or just in time with a real nice juicy storm. 8+ inches. I will not be shut out 2 years straight.

I’ve been a longtime lurker on this site and even longer on the Amwx site. I’ve noticed the other site is completely dead other than the mountain section and it seems all the posters moved over here. What happen? I’m just curious that’s all.

As we agree, need the cold more confirmed here first. We're in the se, the water is usually always here eventually.As optimistic as I am I think we go another year snowless! At this point I just want to see sunny and 75. Get me out on the golf course and enjoying seasonal weather. That said it will probably be cold in late March-June.

If you want snow here it would behoove you to pull for the entire NE to get a foot. Won’t do much but could help if our HP ended up in that area
