All of our peaks are mostly wilderness. I wish Grassy Mtn or Bald Mtn had a station. Would be fascinating.

Upper level Low's never produce for Atlanta area from what I remember the last years. Birmingham can do okay. I don't know why that is that Atlanta struggles with those.
Nope. The Cohuttas will get northwest flow if its a good setup, but we don't have anything like a Mt. Leconte, Mitchell, or Beech.
I don't know how many times I've thought this.

We are closing in on 41 years since the Atlanta airport had a 6" snowfall.

We always get a storm when we are not under a watch but when we are under a watch we get no storm , tho if there is a warning we also get no storm but if there is no warning we get a storm… I say that to say we have no snow watch or warning therefore it could snow at any moment.
