Wrong. Assateague Island is one of the most beautiful beaches on the East Coast. 37 miles of natural unspoiled beach void of condos or hotels or anything else really. Nobody from Virginia likes VB. Check it out. Border of Virginia/Maryland.

It may be another no snow winter if the niña is central based. Something to think about

With our luck the only snow in the state from now on will be from late blooming coastals and CHS will be the new state capital for snow.
Down slopping is a mother in parts of NW SC,
Although there's reports that Cesar's Head had flurries 3 times,
If that's the case it would mean that SC did get snow.

The pollen is already awful here, my sinuses have been absolutely awful for around the past two weeks. I feel as if February has been the onset of pollen season now for several years, the Easter pictures in front of the freshly bloomed azaleas are now becoming a thing of the past as they are already past peak at that juncture in time now.
Anyone traveling to the eclipse on April 8?

totality is only 3-4 hours away for me but it's April in the Plains. Dallas has nearly 4 minutes of totality 
Planning on it as long as the weather is reliable. Probably Indiana since it is the easiest drive.

I’m thinking about hitting up Carbondale, IL. Smallish town but they have Southern Illinois university and they are going to have an eclipse festival at their football stadium that seats 15k. Seems like a cool atmosphere.I might be but I'm convinced the weather will be awful at least locally
Also one of the only towns that got totality in 2017 and now again in 2024. How cool is that

It's kind of ironic actually if I had never left Dallas it would be in my backyard in April(where I was in 2017) but oh well stuff happened
