Only the East Coast could fail at two systems.
Unless it's a banana high big highs in the west just push up against the apps or suppress our systems to far to the south. Sometimes we get lucky but not often.

Not that it matters at this range but temps are in the low to mid 30s over dps in the teens before precip starts so verbatim that would be a lot more freezing rain over ga/upstate.
Sigh...sad state of affairs.
Enjoy the cold for the time being I'm still hopeful though never went two years without snow in the foothills.

It's tough not seeing a snowflake 
This is the winner.
Some ugly solutions showing up now leaving Huntsville out of it. Reminds me of a few years ago where 1 mile to my north has 1-2", i had a trace, and a mile south had just rain.
