I'm gonna be ready for a warmup after today here ? and still got 2 more days
Shocker. Can't believe anyone thought we were getting anything frozen in this abysmal winter.Welp. A yeeting HP & a cold rain.
Guaranteed. And just barely too warm to snow.Where's thebutton. Let's just skip ahead to spring, where we'll be even more disappointed when it flips cold and March is below normal.
This one is also dead, Jim. All of the winter storm threats are dead. It looks rainy and mild over the next 14 days.Boy, woke up this morning to doom and gloom. What happened to all the 50 50 is stronger, south slowing the flow posts mentioned yesterday and setting us up for a good cad storm Sun?
Who dis? And what did you do with the real @Rain ColdThey're probably not going to get any better from here either. It doesn't matter if it's La Nina, El Nino, 4th year Nina, Nada, Nino^-1 West, or anything else. Every winter is above normal and you have to scratch and claw to even get an event to track, much less come to fruition. We spend the bulk of our climo-favored time +7 now, with maybe some mercy cold late in the season and through the Spring.
I used to enjoy heading into Winter and looked forward to all of the seasonal forecasts. Not anymore. It's simply just foolish to produce a cold outlook anymore. There seem to be literally no combination of variables that lead to anything lower than maybe a -1 for the winter. It sucks.

We haven't had a El Nino in a few winters. It will be better.I guess I can go ahead and cancel 2023/24 winter, now. Maybe by 2030 we will have a chance at winter weather, again.
Pictures or it didn't happen....Nicky likes steam rooms with old men
Don’t worry something must be wrong with the data at 06z! We’ll reel it back in once 12z starts running! Just believe fro! BELIEVE!Nicky likes steam rooms with old men
I mean the kids are wearing 90's clothes again. We've had stretches of bad years in the past. Hopefully this is another that's about to end. Three years of la nina have not been good for us in the SE. The mid-south is another story. Memphis has been the winter storm capital (for at least my latitude).
I think you're projecting...Nicky likes steam rooms with old men
I would send the pic but it’s probably not appropriateI think you're projecting...

If we only had the Man Cave thread back.I would send the pic but it’s probably not appropriate
With all due respect to Webber, I will believe it when I see it. Late February, early March is too late for me. Maybe NC/TN can score something then.Still have the 2nd half of February to score something... no point to give up hope yet.
That is really cool! The Dallas Fort Worth area is literally getting thunderstorms of sleet in the mid 20s right now. Meanwhile in the Southeast, we get dense fog advisories.
It can happen, but as BB King sang by then “the thrill is gone”. I’m in the mood for spring at that pointWith all due respect to Webber, I will believe it when I see it. Late February, early March is too late for me. Maybe NC/TN can score something then.
I loved this post, but we really need a jealous button! That is really cool!
Maybe in yesteryear it would. It took a damn ridge all the way into Barrow Alaska to force cold air down into the SE, seems like it takes a miracle now.March will save the winter for a lot of the southeast crowd... Mark my words this day!
funny part it definately could..seen it happenMarch will save the winter for a lot of the southeast crowd... Mark my words this day!
