I mean someone has to be warm while the other side is cold. And well…we are the south. Probably should be us more often then not.

Now the Ohio valley and the northeast are plain getting hosed BUT they are likely to get their due in the coming weeks.

The EPS seems to indicate more near normal high temps as we approach mid March.

Not sure I've ever turned on my ac in Feb before but i just did. 74 and humid does make for good sleeping. This weather is awful. Can't wait for the wedge Sat, at least we'll get one day this year with seasonable weather.

My towel is in the center of the ring. Been a let down of a winter but this place and you guys still make it a lot of fun. I’m calling it.

Bring out Clubber Lang, and the Russian! This winter is toast! Like y’all plants and veggies when JB nails March to Mesmerize! ?

Another crazy warm morning in Atlanta. After a brief cooldown this weekend we’re back at it next week. The only downside is we may have to deal with tree pollen sooner than expected. Rip the bandaid off I suppose.

Maybe when the big freeze comes in a few weeks and kills everything back we can get a 2nd pollen season in May.

Keep a eye on your chickens! This family had chickens

So sad to hear. Amazing how protected we are on a daily basis from things like this.

The pattern thread. You guys ever see titanic before jack drifts off into the ocean. That's where we are.

And the machine learning stuff... It may be a good idea in the nowcast editions to take in satellite imagery/cloud tops/ etc. For potential severe development. The NWS has/had an experimental nowcast model that did something similar and it worked great

If the bees don’t have pollen they’ll just start stinging people won’t they?
I'm starting to believe they will. My dad has started keeping bees and last year kept setting sugar water out for them even past when he was supposed to stop. If that thing went empty they would start swarming around us until he put more out. I couldn't believe it until I saw it.

CAD tomorrow trending weaker for ATL. Low 60’s will still feel chilly though. Break out the sweaters!

Fat people hate temps over 60.
Or people that get tired of humidity, bugs, weeds, allergies, and sunburns. Cooler weather is far better for outside activities in my book. It's been plenty warm this winter; if you haven't already been out (during the few days without rain) I don't know what to tell you.

I absolutely love February days in the 60s but only after a sub freezing low. No bugs and just cool enough to keep from sweating while working.

But that’s the beauty of it. Not too many bugs or allergies yet. And it’s been upper 50’s to low 60’s warm. Upper 70’s warm is what people of my and Fro’s ilk are after.

Mack your arteries are crying . Go run a mile or two! Im actually 170-175. Do you love me?
I actually got a much more physical job and a lot of times outdoors. So a slim and trim new me is only a few months away! I’ll look like Fro by July!

Skied up at Sugar tonight. It was slushy and I had to dodge some bare spots, but still a good time. I had more fun than last year even though the conditions were worse since it was so much less packed. With the weather they have forecasted for this upcoming week and seeing how on the brink things were there, I’m not sure they’re going to make it to next weekend, though.

And there was a power outage late and we skied down from the summit in the dark. ?

And more memorably, a black bear came onto the blue slope near the summit and was pawing at a fallen snowboarder about 75 feet ahead of me. The dude was freaking out and started screaming for help. Kind of a scary situation, but then a few snowboarders flew by and the bear got spooked and retreated into the words.
