I am a huge Rush fan as well. Big blow hearing about Mr. Peart. They made some truly great music over the years.
 
Damn Texas, and the bands you pushed into existence during the mid to late 60s.. people just don't really get how deep your counter-culture went back then:
 
So much insanely beautiful music. Daniel Higgs is a completely overlooked musical genius from the 90s. Lungfish did everything Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Tool, Fugazi, Pearl Jam, etc, did, only on another plane, stripped down, souped up, made better from lesser parts:

I prefer my SoCal punk to everything else. Skateboarded you’re this stuff in the 80’s and 90’s.

Minutemen were great.... though more post punk than hardcore punk... The Germs were good, and Black Flag of course.
 
D.R.I. were awesome too, but they formed in Houston, then relocated to the Bay Area..
 
John Anderson is back! A true central Florida native . That voice has aged like fine wine . Unique as ever

Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedy’s... all great stuff. I still listen to it. I turn 50 in three days and skateboard (flatland and launch ramps/rails) no half pipes for me. The danger of broken bones from a fall at my age is real. LOL. I get funny looks from the parents and kids at the skate park when I go out there to mess around.
 
I love the Rolling Stones, but this song is so strangely magical and open for them.. Almost like Keith Richards absorbed Santana in a single night and wrote this song:

Meh... I personally don’t mind a little smoke. Get some good sativa and mellow out. Helps me relax.
