I think so.
But why does that matter? It's been hot to start September most of the time here. I don't think the 100+ year average matters in September here, and it especially doesn't in the first two weeks.

Long range euro trash.
Has support from the Gefs/EPS.... just saying, the source of the heat is from out west/downsloping, which can really heat things up/lower dews

Only if it was winter 
GFS has some pretty high 850s right at day 10, it really gets the heat going day 8+, slowly tricking down into range
Can't help but laugh at the long range GFS. Certainly no sign of Summer ending soon here, lol.
More like if only it were April / May. That would be an epic ring of fire setup here.
Where the hell was that pattern this past Spring...
Gfs would break a number of daily records at RDU and potentially the all time September record

it’s easier to get that high when dewpoints are lower/lots of mixing, and downsloping off the mountains, what’s being shown is basically a heat release from out west, while it’s overdone, 10 degrees is may be to much
Awesome let’s suffer from heat now while we can, this is certainly how you can get early snow around our source regions near NW territories/Nunavut 
If it's right with 850s getting to 23/24c we are going to sail right past 100
Euro isn’t that high with temperatures but brings dewpoints back in the 70s, along with a weak low that slowly moves thru
