Sounds like an unknown illness at this point.

I was wondering if he had pre existing conditions from racing that made it worse

Horrible news though I haven't even watched NASCAR in years and he's one of those names you remember. We were living near Talladega when Earnhardt died so for awhile yeah everyone I knew was going crazy over NASCAR

I read somewhere Kyle had an anusrym but that's just hearsay. Did read an article this morning said he was testing in the Chevrolet racing simulator in Concord when he became unresponsive and was transported to hospital. So anusrym sure seems possible cause. Tragic for sure

I read this morning where Kyle was complaining of sinus problems during his last race at Watkins Glen towards the end of the race and requested some kind of shot from his doctor when he finished the race over the car radio. I don't know what this means as far as what happened to him other than the fact that some kind of respiratory infection could be a possibility.

I'm thinking it might have either been long covid or pneumonia if it was respiratory sinus

That was what I heard at first anyway

I read that he was coughing up ā€œsome bloodā€. Whereas when it isn’t much it is pretty common (many times due to irritation from coughing) and usually not a sign of anything serious, it can be a sign of pneumonia or even a pulmonary clot. It seems that with him also being very hot and short of breath that perhaps pneumonia is the highest possibility since it appears he had had an infection that started in his sinuses.

Usually though pneumonia is very treatable in an otherwise healthy young person. But if he had pneumonia, a lack of rest and proper treatment could have made it worse. Included in this is his being in a simulator.

I’m a little leery of the Kyle Busch thing
I keep hearing he had a respiratory infection, but saw an interview with a EN&T doctor and he said the chances of dying from complications related to a sinus infection, are like 5-10%
Just sad regardless, hope it’s not cocaine or other type of drugs!!
Rest easy!
I was incorrect!

I wonder if he had some undiagnosed pre existing conditions from racing. Or like how he was in the simulator when it started

I mean it's happened in the NFL quite a bit. They only find it later

I heard that he had an injury from falling off a ladder a few weeks ago, and those led to his body slowly going septic, and it got to the point it killed him

Statement from the Busch Family: ā€œThe medical evaluation provided to the Busch Family concluded that severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid & overwhelming associated complications. The Family asks for continued understanding & privacy during this difficult time."

Made it on ACC Network!! Go Jackets!!

Watching the Sabres get beat in OT loss to the Canadians - was tough - would have been pleased to see the Sabres and Hurricanes matchup.

Want to see the Canes get Stanley Cup #2 for sure there playing well. Ehlers needs to be healthy - playing stupid good.

The canes have just gotta continue to keep playing their game and they will continue to wear out the Canadians

Yeah that long break hurt the Canes game 1 but I think it will certainly help them wear down the Canadians. They've played two 7 game series and now a couple of OT games, those legs gonna tire soon

Yep, you already see it on SOG numbers, the Canadians had like 13 shots on goal last night, they only had 12 the other night when they lost, honestly it shouldnt have been that close in either game. I feel pretty good about the chances they actually make it to the finals this year.
