torrential rain and lots of lightning with the cell that just went thru NW Guilford. Not much wind though. Radar still looks active to the south and west and am sure we are not through with this.
That cell in SE Guilford moving towards Burlington means business.

* Until 345 PM EDT

* At 323 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Bowdens, or 7 miles southwest of Mount Olive,
moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Mar-Mac, Brogden and Elroy.

We need to watch the cells popping up down around Lumberton up to Fayettville, they are firing in'clean' area's and tracks will continue through area's not yet hit by storms. I would think they should have plenty of instability to work with.
