...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT FOR
NORTH CENTRAL WAYNE...NORTHEASTERN WAKE...CENTRAL JOHNSTON AND
SOUTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES...

At 1135 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles northeast of Garner to near Clayton to near
Smithfield, moving north at 65 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Smithfield, Garner, Clayton, Zebulon, Knightdale, Micro,
Selma, Wendell and Rolesville.
 
I've been watching those storms that originated around Macon, Jimmy since they're heading northeast. I think hopefully the ones that have been radar indicated will miss but I did just get placed under a severe thunderstorm warning for almost an hour. I think that's the first time I've seen something like that.
 
Flood warning just went out for Pickens county sc not surprised

Seems like the line is not making much forward progress!?? Was it supposed to be this slow? I’ve barely had a rumble of thunder so far, but under a tornado watch!

These strong cells not yet severe should be the last threat for western upstate.
