September Sizzling Summer Segway

High of 74.2F at 4am this morning followed by a daytime high of 74.1 at 3:15pm. Cruising through the 60s at this moment, down to 65.7 and headed toward upper 50s. Sucks to cash in on an early fall when he have a 50/50 shot at mid 70s around Christmas.

74 year round and target 55% RH, redoing our duct work, encapsulation of the crawlspace with conditioning and a dual fuel two stage Trane gas pack really helped, and at the same time cut the energy bill.

Well the front this weekend was already pretty good but the mid 80s and sunny on Monday and Tuesday has possibly been wiped out by Beta lolScreenshot_20200919-014407.png

Never thought a Greek name would possibly be the biggest tropical impact of the year here but here we are(Laura had like one stray rainband here and then we torched lol)

actually if the models verify this will be the most rain I've seen since probably 2015 from an Atlantic system anyway... Harvey was a few sprinkles here...

Idk but I would like to tell her Hi.

Still off topic but thank you for having an antidote to Tarheel1; perhaps you and SD should give him avatar lessons.

On topic, a nice cool 54 F IMBY this morning; looking forward to the absolutely gorgeous week of September coming up; think my back yard might see temps in the 30s early Monday morning.

We were heading towards 50s until the cloud deck rolled in. It’s 66 degrees and I don’t think the windows will close today or tomorrow. About to put a rather large brisket on the Pit Barrel. Football Saturday!

Those long range GFS temperature maps are complete garbage.
Well I mean I do think it’s somewhat valid, that -NAO that was once looking solid, looks like complete garbage now, and pulled a 2010s where it disappears out of nowhere, only thing really keeping us more average after the cool down is that Aleutian low but there’s gonna be transient ridging that passes time to time so it wouldn’t shock me if we get temps like that

I'll add my "man if felt amazing this morning" comment Lol.... went for my early morning run and I was almost chilly, it was fantastic! And now the next 3-4 nights with lows in the 40's, an actual Fall, how sweet is that?!

Phantom-NAO? Good to see the 20s will be the same poop different decade!

Its a little early this year, but we knew it was coming. Usually the NAO waits till November / early December to flip. Just enough to get our hopes up.

Went for a walk got a lead on some fish being caught.

Loving the gfs qpf output. I dont want any rain until January.
