I know its happy hr, and long range but gfs has been showing this change lately. I'm so ready for this. Cold air coming down end of run.

The oaks in my front yard are in heat and drought shock, they are dumping leaves like it’s early November. Anyone else seeing this?

Yea I have one in my front yard , she has lost around 10% so far, definitely due to the drought. Happens every year around this time. Last summer most of my trees lost 1/4 by fall.

The oaks aren't, but the cherries and some other trees are yellowing and dropping more than they should. I have some cherries that are a month early being bare as they have a disease that makes them drop their leaves early.

first week of December it’ll instantly become winter
A forecast I just saw for KATL has highs way up at 94-97 the next 8 days!
And records will be in jeopardy on some of those days.

It'll be very late September before we can even entertain this AN pattern Regime to break down. Everything is very stagnet H5 wise. I just would like to get some rain ( need to overseed). Missed out on Dorian by just a few miles.

Even Alaska AN. I hate how this summer is ending.
You can't make that stuff up. I expect the se to be warm, but how is it possible the whole lower 48 AND Alaska are? How is that even possible? Climate change is real folks.

The map was just for humor ... seen plenty of very warm Septembers that ultimately led elsewhere ... and some that didn't ...
Much of North GA got 6 or 7 years worth of snow in 17-18 so i wouldnt complain if you dont see any snow until 2025.
If you look closely theres a tiny area near the AZ/Mexico border that isnt above normal.

You must be joking. We average 2.9" or so here a year, so receiving 10 inches means we are due back in 2022-23. Out of the 12 or so winters I've lived here, only 3 have been snowless. 2011-12, 2012-13, and 2018-19. We are either getting blanked again with some icing, or we are getting a snowstorm this winter. The odds are in our favor. Can't say that about ATL.
Some areas that avg 1-2" saw close to 15" in 17-18. Im pretty sure Carrollton only averages about 1.5".The area from near Bremen to Paulding and Cobb got hammered.
Man I hope not. I know we're gonna torch down here like usual but man if that verified it will be a long time searching for fall.
On the positive side, with avg temps getting lower, above normal temps could mean mid 80s which isnt that bad.

Glenn Burns says summer temps stay around until the end of September. October is always a coin flip. So yea fall will be late this year again.

West and north Ga has done great in the past few years. East Georgia has sucked since 2011. East Georgia and SC are the ones that should be angry. I KNOW I AM! See name!
