Well ive already shared my thoughts but go ahead impeach him. It will go to the Senate where it will die a quick death or the President and his defense team will have the chance to subpoena anybody they choose. If that happens, get your popcorn ready and enjoy the show. At this point this is pretty much the only thing the left has in their deck other than the old and stagnant race card

Agree with the sentiment and the final analysis. But please do not forget we have an American process, guilty or not, that our lawmakers are conveniently ignoring ... which IMHO is far more problematic than anything Trump may (or may not) have done ... unless, of course, due process went out to the curb with the garbage last night ...

... and might I add, lest someone bring up secretive grand juries ... no House Select Committee, Committee, or Sub-Committee has been duly authorized or designated to hear evidence in secret and make a referral or present an indictment ... nor is there an appointed prosecutor to gather and presnet such evidence to any such designated body ... and if there were ... none of this would be public since in a grand jury situation, it is all quiet until a formal finding is made ... all unlike a grand jury situation ... this is crazy and scary from and on so many levels ...

I agree 100%. No transparency whatsoever and the President (hate him or not, guilty or not) deserves the right to face his accusers and not without delay due to cowardly politics

Surely you guys know that these closed-door hearings aren't uncommon when there is sensitive information involved, and that there will be no indictments handed down directly from this. The same types of hearings have happened many times in the past (Benghazi, for example).
In all the stupid show in Washington going on many missed this.
Firstly, some people are just vulgar and stupid, but how in the world is this not a violation of the first amendment by arresting them. Neither the NYT or CBS or NBC brings up this point. You could make any comment about anything "ridicule". Watch out Chevy guys, don't insult Ford. Bama fans, calling AU fans Barners could get you arrested.

Well. I don't think we should ignore presidential abuse of power just because the economy is strong.
Otherwise, that would mean it was okay to vote for Clinton in 92 and not re-elect Bush because of the economy. Because economy trumps morals, right?

Insulting Ford owners or Auburn fans wouldn't have warranted being arrested because it's not covered under Connecticut statue.
These guys shouted out racial slurs, and got charged for a misdemeanor. They did it because they were being drunk and dumb. They'll likely get community service, and all will be well.
This is noise. Noise. NOISE.

This is true to a extent but also does not mean what you think will happen will happen.....the legal precedent is that the subpoenas have to be relevant to the case at hand. You must have read the Hyram F. Suddfluffel message/post/tweet where they play up this angle......most legal experts agree however this subpoena whoever you want idea is not how it really works.

This is not any of those things, this is a inquiry and they can hear evidence in secret etc.....otherwise they would not be doing it. Absolutely nothing that is going on with this inquiry is illegal. Its to the advantage of the inquiry to do so in private, this makes it harder for those being questioned to know what the others have or had not admitted to etc.....thus making it more dangerous to lie and perjure oneself. There are Republicans in every single one of these inquiry hearings and they even ask questions etc......this notion that this is being done in secret without GOP participation is ridiculous.
The antics today were simply the GOP trying to stop the bleeding as each person revels more damning information......at this point the Dems have what they want and will be taking the evidence public to begin to sway public support even more. There is nothing crazy or scary going on here...unless you are Trump or the idiots he convinced to help him in this.
Allowing the government to violate the First Amendment is noise? If that is noise we are absolutely doomed if that way of warped thinking goes nationwide.
When, then AZ governor, Jan Brewer shook her finger at Pres Obama she was a racist, bigot and disrespectful to the office of the President. When Nancy Pelosi shook her finger at Trump she was hailed as a hero, a strong woman standing up for what's right.
When GOP protest a very non transparent impeachment inquiry they should all be arrested, thrown out of office, investigated by the Feds. When the Dems staged a sit-in in 2016 it was hailed as one of the greatest times in history, unprecedented and powerful...... amazing this double standard that supposedly doesn't exist.
Also I find it interesting that morality comes into play to oust Trump by those on the left, the same party that supports the slaughter of innocent defenseless unborn children (in some instances after birth, infanticide) and the same party, who support a liberal Judge in Tx that has ruled against a father trying to stop his ex-wife from transitioning their 7 yr old boy to a girl! Seriously?! This party is an authority on morality?

This is such an extreme misunderstanding. The impeachment inquiry on the house is not a trial but an investigation. The trial part will come in the Senate. If you were being investigated for a crime, do you get to demand access to sit in the room while the police are interviewing witnesses? No, you do not.
Also, a third of those Republicans who "broke in" to the hearing already has access. They were making theatre.
And he will, in the Senate, if this makes it there. Come on.

Let's talk about double standards. Who was for the Benghazi probe but is against the impeachment inquiry? Who thinks Hillary should be in jail and Trump should be reelected? Hunter Biden shouldn't use his father's position to get rich but Don jr can? Clinton shouldn't lie about an affair but Trump can use campaign funds to pay off a porn star? The Russians didn't help Trump but Ukraine helped Hillary? My favorite is welfare recipients should be drug tested but Congress should not be.

I don’t give a crap if the house votes to impeach Trump or not, it’s this fact that it’s being sold as “investigation” that makes me laugh. They are gonna impeach and they know it, regardless of whatever they find and when politicians act like they are really weighing the facts is hilarious as is those who believe such.

This isn't Watergate it's a phone call. First they tried a porn star, then Mueller spent tens of millions of taxpayer dollars so we could watch him mumble on TV. Then is was kids in cages. The Democrats have thrown everything they can think of since DAY FRIGGIN 1. So go ahead, roger up and impeach NOW so the duly elected President can focus on running the country. I get that they want to drag it out into next year because they are cowards but the country and President deserve better

Who is more of a coward? The Dems investigating Trump possibly extorting Ukraine to help him keep power or a spoiled rich kid getting out of the draft four times because his daddy paid a doctor to say he had bone spurs? There is no doubt the Dems have it out for him but he deserves it.
