I just checked Fayetteville's and we won't catch 1922 but we're running the 5th wettest year on record right now and can leap frog our way to 2nd place easily if we play our cards right

I beleive GSO was around 52" last year as well which was about 25% above normal. I suspect we are easily in the wettest 3 year span here in GSO since they started keeping records. It's going to be close for this year.

The Dec 2017 event was predicted first by the CMC. For that highly scientific reason I’m looking toward the 12z CMC. If she fails, it’s over. Ice box cold, shredder city, no snow.

That 06z GFS run has a windchill of 24F imby the morning of the 26th. That's legitimately cold lol. Gotta love these fantasy runs.

That type of cold will be a little bit of a problem though considering I discovered last week that my heater no longer works. I set it to 65F and when it tried to turn on it ended up somehow short circuiting the thermostat lol. Got down to around 60F indoors before warmer weather kept it from dropping further. Something like 53/36 as shown by the GFS would make it pretty damn cold inside.
Hey man... get me an Iguana!! I want to have one!! It would be cool to go with the Bearded Dragons, Hermit Crabs, and Albino Python!! Plus dogs, cats.... LOL
Our chances are somewhat good this Christmas. Cold in place check. Maybe MTN snow check. Precip east of the mtns..too far out to worry.
yea cant ask for much more at this point, our chances aren't %0 which is a win in itself.

How come every single time I see one of these ensembles it literally stops at the SC line. Is snow afraid of SC?
You beat me to it lol I do to im right outside of downtown Birmingham with a few flurries
I'm surprised nobody's talking about the CMC. White Christmas for a lot of folks.
