Baja low !! 
Last year it had 16 inches four runs in a row at day five. The GFS has a theme for being wrongfully consistent at times.
Ahhh yes enjoying some nice flurries on my house that’s been taken off it’s foundation .. WIN ..

Finally looked at the 12z Euro. While I'd be crossing my fingers big time if I were in certain areas north of me, definitely seems as if the severe outcome with flakes behind it is the more likely outcome and that the GFS is wrong.
The interesting thing though is it's also COLD on Christmas. For most, it's widespread 30s or lower.

CMC does interesting this run. It shows a ULL this run behind the anafront.
Yes, however, I don’t think it’s even possible to get it to speed up enough to be in the ideal position.

we've seen this movie a few dozen times per year lol. get within 3 days and have solid support from other models and ensembles ,then we get cautiously optimistic
Our bread and butter. We love Baja lows because that’s the latitude we prefer our southern stream wave to enter the US. Baja bowling balls give me a chub.
Let’s just push that front through quickly and get this over with. You have to smell the ridge to get the trough.

It just doesn't happen here. Cold air chasing moisture constantly. Can never get anything to time up unless it's cold rain

This ain’t far from popping a decent little wave, if we trend it to a better tilt, and keep the N/S in a optimal spot and don’t let the WAR overpower, this could end up being something decent after the severe, has some work to do however, and where our first wave that develops the severe weather digs/tilts is important as that is the source to our cold initially and how Far East it moves
